Satantango

In a small, isolated village in Hungary, the residents face a bleak reality as they struggle to survive in a post-apocalyptic world. The community is plagued by poverty, and their only source of income, a factory, has closed. Against this backdrop, a mysterious figure named Irimiás returns to the village after being presumed dead, and he convinces the villagers to join him in a new collective farm venture. However, their hopes for a better life are soon shattered as they become embroiled in a web of deceit and manipulation. As tensions rise and relationships deteriorate, the villagers are forced to confront their own dark realities and the true nature of humanity. Will they find a way to overcome their struggles or succumb to the harsh realities of their world?
