What is Renoir about? 
Renoir is a 2012 French drama film directed by Gilles Bourdos, starring Michel Bouquet and Vincent Rottiers as the famous painter Pierre-Auguste Renoir and his son Jean Renoir.s The film takes place in 1915 on the Côte d'Azur, where the elder Renoir is struggling with the loss of his wife, arthritis, and the news that his son has been wounded in World War I.
