Nebelgrind tells the story of a farmer, Jürg, who is left to care for his children and manage the farm on his own for two weeks when his wife, Fränzi, leaves him to take care of her father, Karli, who is suffering from Alzheimer's disease. Despite Jürg's reluctance to acknowledge the severity of Karli's condition, he is forced to confront the reality of the disease and the impact it has on his family.
