Fist of Legend

Fist of Legend tells the story of Chen Zhen, a Chinese martial artist who seeks revenge against the Japanese assassins who killed his mentor, Huo Yuanjia. After defeating Ryuichi Akutagawa, the Japanese champion, Chen returns to Shanghai and learns that his master's death was actually a murder orchestrated by General Fujita. With the help of Fumio Funakoshi,s son Huo Ting-en, and Mitsuko Yamada -a Japanese woman he saved and fell in love with-, Chen must overcome his personal demons and face his enemies head-on to restore his master's reputation and honor. The movie is an action-packed tale of love, honor, and sacrifice set in Shanghai during the Sino-Japanese War.
