In the bustling streets of Hong Kong,s, a retired British Chinese soldier Kwan Chiu and a young South Asian thief Mani, cross paths, and their lives are forever changed. Kwan, once a respected military officer, has turned to a life of crime, while Mani is struggling to survive on the streets. When Mani takes shelter in Kwan's home, they initially but eventually bond over their shared struggles and loneliness. But their unlikely friendship is put to the test when they get caught up in a triad manhunt, and Kwan's past mistakes come back to haunt him.
