Greetings from Fukushima

In the aftermath of the 2011 Fukushima nuclear disaster, a young German woman named Marie travels to the affected region to bring hope to the survivors through her work with the organization Clowns4Help. Struggling to cope with the tragedy and her own personal demons, Marie finds solace in an unlikely friendship with Satomi, the last geisha of Fukushima, who has returned to her childhood home in the exclusion zone. Despite their cultural and generational differences, the two women form a deep bond as they learn to confront their past and find a way to move forward.
