In a future society where emotions have been eradicated, Silas and Nia, two young lovers, discover they have contracted a mysterious disease that restores their emotions. As they explore their feelings, they must keep their relationship a secret from the society that rejects emotions. When Nia becomes pregnant, they realize they must escape to a secluded area, the Peninsula, to avoid being taken to the DEN, a facility where those infected are detained. With the help of Jonas, a member of a secret support group, they plan their escape, but their journey is filled with danger and uncertainty. Will they be able to survive and keep their love alive in a world that rejects emotions?
