What is Enys Men about? Toggle content

On a remote, uninhabited island off the Cornish coast in 1973, a wildlife volunteer becomes consumed by a metaphysical journey that blurs the lines between reality and nightmare. As she observes a rare flower, strange occurrences challenge her grip on reality, plunging her into a world where the past, present, and future collide. The film's title, Enys Men, echoes the Cornish phrase for "stone flower," hinting at the mysterious and otherworldly events that unfold on the island.
