Elegy

"Elegy" is a romantic drama that tells the story of a cultural critic and professor, David Kepesh, who finds his life thrown into disarray by a beautiful and confident student, Consuela Castillo. Despite his history of casual relationships, David becomes obsessed with Consuela and the two begin a serious relationship. However, their love is put to the test when Consuela invites David to her graduation party and he fails to show up, leading to a heartbroken Consuela ending their relationship. Meanwhile, Consuela is diagnosed with breast cancer and undergoes a mastectomy.
