Drive Angry

Drive Angry is a 2011 action-thriller film directed by Patrick Lussier and starring Nicolas Cage, Amber Heard, and William Fichtner. The movie follows John Milton (Cage), a former criminal who has escaped from Hell to save his granddaughter from being sacrificed by a Satanic cult. Milton teams up with Piper Lee (Heard), a tough-as-nails waitress, and together they embark on a dangerous journey to stop the cult leader, Jonah King (Billy Burke), and his followers. The film takes place in various locations across the United States, including Colorado and Louisiana. Along the way, Milton and Piper encounter several obstacles and must fight off King's followers in order to reach Stillwater Prison, where the ritual sacrifice is set to take place. The movie features high-speed car chases, intense action sequences, and supernatural elements as Milton uses Satan's personal gun, the Godkiller, to delay the Accountant (Fichtner), Satan's assistant who is tasked with returning Milton back to Hell. Drive Angry received mixed reviews from critics but was praised for its entertaining action sequences and Cage's over-the-top performance. It grossed over $48 million at the box office worldwide on a budget of $50 million.
