Chef Dave Oberlin's career is in shambles when a viral video of his altercation with a famous food critic gets him blacklisted from the elite restaurants. He's forced to take a teaching position at his friend's culinary arts school, where he meets cardiologist Nina Kirby, who's vying for a promotion at the local hospital. Nina's boss informs her that convincing Dave to teach the Healthy Living seminars will guarantee her the position, but Nina can't cook and doesn't want to learn. With some persuading from her best friend Olivia, Nina agrees to take Dave's class, but he's not interested in working with her due to her lack of participation. As Nina tries to convince Dave to get on board, they unexpectedly discover common ground. Will their unlikely partnership lead to a successful seminar and maybe even something more?
