Code Geass: Akito the Exiled 1: The Wyvern Arrives

In a dystopian future, the Holy Britannian Empire has conquered most of the world, and the European Union is one of the last remaining resistances. The EU army forms a special unit known as "W-0" to fight against the superior forces of the Britannian Empire. Akito Hyuga, a young pilot, becomes the personal bodyguard of the unit's commander, Leila Malkal, a former Britannian aristocrat who has defected to the EU's side. Together, they lead a group of teenage Japanese pilots, known as the "Wyvern" Knightmare corps, into a battlefield where the survival rate is only 5%. They fight for their freedom and for a place to call home.
