Bad Ass 2: Bad Asses Frank Vega, a Vietnam veteran and former Bad Ass, has opened a community boxing center in East LA where he trains young boxers to survive in and out of the ring. When his star pupil, Manny Parks, is killed by a drug cartel, Frank teams up with his grumpy, agoraphobic neighbor Bernie Pope to take matters into their own fists and prove that justice never gets old. With the help of his friend Officer Malark, Frank learns that Manny was involved in drug dealing, which leads him to confront his other students and tail Tucson, Manny's friend and fellow boxer. Frank interrogates Tucson and discovers that Manny was forced to sell drugs to support his family but was planning to quit after his professional debut match. Determined to avenge Manny's death, Frank breaks into the dealers' room, assaults them, and burns their product, which prompts Adolfo Herrera, the local cartel leader and son of an Argentina diplomat, to order his men to kill Frank. When Frank's home is surrounded by Adolfo's men, he and Bernie make a last stand, using their wits and brawn to take down the cartel members and bring justice to Manny's family.
