Antarmahal

In the late 19th century, a powerful landlord in Bengal, Bhubaneswar Chowdhury, will stop at nothing to gain the coveted Raibahadur title from the British. He decides to create a statue of Queen Victoria adorned with the body of Goddess Durga, hoping to impress the colonial rulers. Meanwhile, he also seeks an heir and marries a younger woman, Jashomati, while mistreating his first wife, Mahamaya. The two wives engage in a bitter struggle for power, while Bhubaneswar's cruelty and lust lead to a dark fate for Jashomati. Amidst the chaos, a young sculptor creates a masterpiece that will seal Jashomati's ultimate destiny.
