However, she soon realizes that the road to success is paved with challenges and frustrations. Despite her determination, she struggles to find a job and is betrayed by a colleague. When a family quarrel forces her out of her aunt's home, I-Shan must come to terms with the fact that she is still an outsider in Taipei.
