The Legend of Qin

In the midst of chaos at the end of the Warring States period, Jing Ke, a skilled assassin, attempts to kill King Zheng of Qin but fails. On the run from the Qin army, Jing hires Gai Nie, the world's greatest swordsman, to protect his son, Jing Tian Ming. When Gai single-handedly defeats 300 armed Qin soldiers at the border, King Zheng orders his elimination at any cost. The Qin ministries hire Wei Zhuang, a brilliant swordsman who studied under the same master as Gai, to track them down. Gai and Tian Ming join a group of Mohist swordsmen and a young woman named Gao Yue, and are led to the Mohist Fortress, a secret location nestled among towering peaks, which houses the Mohist School, a final stronghold against the Qin forces. Among them is Rong Duan Mu, a skilled Mohist doctor and Gao Yue's older sister, who Gai falls in love with. But when King Zheng sends a massive group of elite troops and Wei brings his own team of assassins, an epic battle ensues at the Mohist Fortress that will determine the next king. "The Legend of Qin" is a historical drama series directed by Zheng Wei Wen, adapted from the No.1 animation of Chinese martial arts.
