Meet the Lamberts and the Fosters, two families who couldn't be more different. Frank, a divorced contractor, has three kids - J.T., Al, and Brendan - while Carol, a widowed salon owner, has three kids of her own - Dana, Karen, and Mark. Despite their differences, Frank and Carol fall in love and decide to get married during a whirlwind vacation in Jamaica. But when they return home to Port Washington, Wisconsin, they realize that blending their families won't be easy. With six kids under one roof, things get chaotic as they try to navigate their new lives together. Will they be able to overcome their differences and become one happy family?
