Royal Feast

In the midst of China's Ming dynasty, a young woman named Yao Zijin enters the imperial palace as a maid in the Food Bureau, where she discovers her passion for cooking and begins to work her way up the ranks. As she delivers meals to the Emperor's grandson, Zhanji, they develop a connection that blossoms into romance. But Zijin's mysterious past and her principles make her hesitant to fully embrace their relationship. Meanwhile, the Food Bureau becomes embroiled in a web of palace politics and power struggles, and Zijin's background makes her a target for those who feel threatened. As Zhanji works to protect his father and fend off his uncles' attempts to grab the throne, the story paints a rich tapestry of ancient cultural life, full of strong family bonds, deep friendships, and enduring love.
