Noblewoman Wen Wan's (Gia Ge) wedding night takes a horrific turn when her fiancé Su Xuan Jing (Liu Jun Da) betrays her, leading to her entire family's deaths. Somehow, she finds herself reborn back in time – on the very day Xuan Jing proposed. With the pain of her tragic end still fresh, Wen Wan vows to uncover the truth behind her family's demise and change her future. She rejects Xuan Jing's proposal and instead allies with the Seventh Prince, Xiao Chen (Dong Zi Fan), to help him secure the throne. However, Xiao Chen, who also died and was reborn with memories of his past life, harbors unresolved feelings due to past misunderstandings. As Wen Wan and Xiao Chen work together to try and untangle the conspiracies in the royal court, they start to fall for each other, but Xiao Chen keeps his feelings to himself while Wen Wan pursues him openly. Will they manage to bring the truth to light – and find love together?
