Resurrection is a series that follows the lives of the residents of Arcadia, Missouri, who are forever changed when their deceased loved ones start to reappear, unaged since their deaths. The story revolves around Jacob Langston, an eight-year-old boy who drowned in 1982 and is found alive in China, and his return to his parents, Henry and Lucille Langston, by an immigration agent named J. Martin Bellamy. The series explores the mysterious circumstances surrounding Jacob's return and the impact it has on his family and the community, including his uncle, Arcadia Sheriff Fred Langston, and his daughter Dr. Maggie Langston. As more people begin to reappear from the dead, the townspeople struggle to understand the phenomenon and seek answers.
