In the tumultuous era of Northern Wei, civilians are frequently kidnapped and forced into slavery. Chu Qiao, a slave girl, is thrown into a forest and becomes the next hunting target for wealthy lords. She's saved by Prince Yan Xun, but their relationship becomes complicated as they navigate the treacherous world of politics and power struggles. Chu Qiao must choose between her loyalty to Yan Xun and her desire to fight for justice, all while trying to survive in a world where life is cheap and freedom is a luxury few can afford.
