Out of Practice: Season 1

Out of Practice is a comedy series that follows the lives of a family of physicians who, despite their shared profession, have little in common. The show revolves around Ben Barnes, the youngest son and central character, who is a marriage counselor and the only non-physician in the family. Ben's family sees him as a lesser doctor, and his wife has left him in the pilot episode. His father, Stewart Barnes, is a gastroenterologist who is happy to be free from the influence of his ex-wife, Lydia Barnes, a status-conscious cardiologist and mother of their three children. Ben's brother, Oliver Barnes, is a self-centered plastic surgeon and committed womanizer, while their sister, Regina Barnes, is a lesbian E.R. doctor who is infatuated with attractive women. Crystal, Stewart's girlfriend and receptionist, adds to the humor and awkwardness of the show.
