McLeod's Daughters: Season 1

Here's a concise movie description of McLeod's Daughters: After their father, Jack McLeod, passes away, his two estranged daughters, Claire and Tess Silverman McLeod, are reunited when they inherit a large portion of the Drover's Run cattle station in Australia. Claire had been running the farm with her husband for years but had to fire her all-male workforce after discovering that one was stealing from her. Tess returns after 20 years with the intention of selling her share of the farm but agrees to stay and help run it with Claire. The two women are assisted by Meg Fontaine, the housekeeper; Jodi Fountain and Becky Howard; local girl Simmone Jade Mackinnon; and other recurring characters throughout the eight seasons. They face numerous difficulties managing a ranch in an isolated area while also trying to balance their personal lives and relationships.
