Kemono Jihen

In a remote village, a series of mysterious animal deaths has occurred, with the bodies rotting away in just one night. Detective Inugami, a specialist in the occult from Tokyo, is called in to investigate. He befriends a strange boy named Kabane who works in the fields instead of going to school and is shunned by his peers. Together, they uncover the truth behind the killings, but supernatural forces are at work, and Kabane may not be entirely human. As Inugami delves deeper into the case, he discovers that the boy's true identity is linked to an ancient, evil force that threatens to destroy the village. With time running out, Inugami must confront the dark forces head-on to save the village and uncover the truth about Kabane's past.
