Afterlife

Afterlife follows the supernatural experiences of medium Alison Mundy and skeptic professor Robert Bridge. Alison's abilities lead to the suicide of one of Robert's students, and he becomes involved in her life to understand and write about her abilities. As they work together, Alison tries to help Robert come to terms with the death of his son, whose spirit she can see. Throughout the series, Alison's powers are put to the test as she encounters various spirits, including her own grandfather and mother, who cause her mental turmoil. Meanwhile, Robert is diagnosed with cancer and ultimately dies, but not before helping Alison overcome her own struggles.
