Alien really had it all! I *usually* don’t even find horror movies that interesting, but this one did it for me. It’s also still a very beautiful movie, even in 2025 (minus a few scenes, of course).
I prefer Cameron's sequel which is, of course, quite a different beast (yes, pun intended). Here, there isn't much action; it's all about atmosphere and anticipation. In that regard I would argue that it has been surpassed by Carpen...
