Z for Zachariah

In the aftermath of a nuclear disaster, a young woman named Ann Burden finds herself alone on her family's farm, struggling to survive. She meets a man named John Loomis, who claims to be an engineer and has managed to find his way to the valley where Ann lives. Despite initial reservations, Ann allows John to stay with her and they gradually form a close bond as they work together to sustain their lives. However, their relationship is put to the test when another survivor named Caleb arrives in the valley.
