Wildlife (2012)

On a remote island in the Philippines, a solitary soldier named Julian is stranded, forced to prolong his stay due to a coup d'etat in the capital. With only a walkie-talkie, radio, and TV to keep him company, Julian becomes increasingly paranoid, sensing that he's being watched. When two new soldiers arrive, their conversations about a ghostly mermaid and a traumatic event from Julian's past threaten to unravel his sanity. As reality and fantasy blur, Julian must confront his inner demons to survive isolation and the looming threat of danger.
