Vincent, a young man with Tourette's syndrome, is institutionalized by his father after his mother's death. Determined to fulfill his mother's wish and scatter her ashes in the sea, Vincent breaks out of the institution with two fellow patients, Marie and Alexander, and embarks on a road trip to Italy.
