In the coastal town of Kaakkamani , a stranger named Raja (played by Dhanush) arrives & gets into a tiff with the local gangster Kaka Mani (played by Sharath Lohitashwa) & his son Saravanan (played by Dhilip Subbarayan) . Raja falls in love with Kadalarasi (played by Andrea Jeremiah) ,sister of Shankar (played by Anil Murali) who works for Kaka Mani . Raja's past is revealed as he seeks revenge against Saravanan for killing his sister & brother in law . A game of kabaddi ,a canoe racing competition ,a murder attempt & a dramatic twist lead to a thrilling climax . Will Raja succeed in his revenge or will Kaakkamani's rule continue to terrorize the town ?
