"Train Driver's Diary" is a dark comedy that explores the unsettling reality of train drivers who unintentionally kill people during their career. The film follows the story of Ilija, a train driver who has accidentally run over many people, including his beautiful girlfriend. Despite his reservations, Ilija adopts a young boy named Sima who wants to become a train driver himself. However, Sima becomes depressed when he doesn't run over anyone, leading Ilija to make a dangerous sacrifice to help his adopted son. In the end, Sima finds solace in running over Ljuba the Maniac, and the film concludes with Ilija reflecting on his life while riding on a train driven by Sima.
