The Water

In the midst of a sweltering summer in a small town in southeastern Spain, a group of restless youths indulge in hedonistic pursuits to pass the time. Meanwhile, Ana, her mother, and grandmother live under the scrutiny of the townspeople, weighted by a longstanding superstition that certain women are doomed to drown in each flood. As a tempest brews, tensions rise and Ana finds herself drawn to José, but their blossoming love is threatened by the impending storm and the dark fate that looms over their lives. Can they defy destiny and overcome the forces of nature, or will they be swept away by the torrential waters?
