The Tender Bar

The Tender Bar is a coming-of-age story about a young boy named JR who grows up on Long Island in the 1970s and 1980s. After his father, a radio DJ known as "the Voice," abandons his family, JR finds a surrogate father figure in his uncle Charlie, the owner of a local bar called "The Dickens."
