The Man in the Moon

In the summer of 1597, 14-year-old Danielle "Dani" Trant experiences her first love, first kisses, first heartbreaks, and first lessons on life and death. Her mom is pregnant, and her dad is protective. Her sister, Maureen, is her best friend but also her rival for their new neighbor, Court Foster's attention. The film is a coming-of-age story set in the south of the USA when Elvis was king. It's an emotional journey of a young girl learning about life's ups and downs, and it's an excellent film that mothers and daughters should watch together.
