The Man from Nowhere

Tae-sik Cha, a retired special agent with a mysterious past, lives a solitary life operating a pawnshop. His only connection to the outside world is So-mi, a little girl from the same neighborhood. When So-mi's mother, Hyo-jeong, a go-go dancer addicted to opium steals a large pack of drugs and hides it in a camera bag which she pawns to Tae-sik for safekeeping , it sets off a chain of events that puts Tae-sik in the crosshairs of a powerful drug lord. Tae-sik is forced to retrieve the drugs while protecting So-mi from the drug lord's henchmen. In the process, he uncovers a dark secret involving organ harvesting and must use his combat skills to take down the drug lord and his henchmen to save So-mi. The movie takes you through an action-packed thrilling journey as Tae-sik fights his way through the criminal underworld to save the young girl he has come to care for.
