The Last Full Measure

The Last Full Measure tells the true story of William H. Pitsenbarger, a U.S. Air Force Pararescueman who saved over 60 men during the Vietnam War. During a rescue mission, Pits chose to leave his helicopter to aid wounded soldiers under heavy fire, sacrificing his own life. 32 years later, Pentagon staffer Scott Huffman investigates a posthumous Medal of Honor request for Pitsenbarger, uncovering a high-level conspiracy behind the decades-long denial of the medal. Huffman seeks out testimony from Army veterans who witnessed or were saved by Pitsenbarger's valor, including Takoda, Burr and Mott, who carry their own demons from their experiences. As Huffman delves deeper into the investigation, he risks his own career to seek justice for the fallen airman. The film features an all-star cast including Sebastian Stan, Christopher Plummer and William Hurt.
