The Bomber

"The Bomber" is a gripping war drama that follows the story of three Soviet soldiers who survive a plane crash on Nazi-occupied territory during World War II. The pilot, Grivtsov, and his radio operator, Katya, must find their way back to their own forces while avoiding capture by the enemy. Meanwhile, flight navigator Linko decides to surrender to the Nazis to save his own life. However, things take a turn for the worse when Grivtsov discovers an act of sabotage that has been committed before their take-off, and he is accused of being a traitor by the Smersh, the Soviet militia. Instead of being awarded the "Star" medal for his 100th flight, he is sentenced to death. With their lives on the line, the three soldiers must use all their military training and skills to stay alive and complete their missions.
