Supernova

In the distant reaches of space, a medical rescue ship receives a distress call from an ice mining operation on a moon orbiting a blue giant star. The crew answers the call, but their ship is damaged during the dimension-jump and they find themselves in a race against time to repair it before they are incinerated by the star's high gravity field. They also discover that they have rescued a mysterious young man who has smuggled an alien artifact on board, which contains nine-dimensional matter that has given him supernatural abilities and a sinister mission. As they struggle to repair their ship and escape the star's deadly pull, the crew must also confront the dangerous and unpredictable Karl Larson before he destroys them all.
