Last holiday season, Carley Kincaid wrote a list of resolutions to complete in the coming year, but now that it's December again, she hasn't accomplished any. She's still stuck working for the same company, and worse, she's been assigned the task of babysitting the CEO's son Wyatt when he gets promoted over her. When Wyatt messes up, Carley seizes on the opportunity. She volunteers to take the blame and get fired, giving herself the freedom to tackle her resolutions in the last 31 days of the year. What better time to do so than the holidays! Struck by her passion, Wyatt agrees to help in exchange for Carley teaching him how to make some needed lifestyle changes. With the magic of the holidays inspiring them, Wyatt helps Carley check items off her list, like complete a 5k, go on adventures, and taking steps to pursue her dream career. Meanwhile, Carley gets Wyatt to make some positive changes, and even helps him embrace the holiday traditions he's been avoiding. As the days tick down and Christmas nears, Carley hits a snag questioning if it’s really possible to change in just one month. Wyatt tries to keep her spirits up, admitting he has feelings for her, so clearly a lot can change. Eventually, Carley realizes it’s more about the journey, and that as long as she has Wyatt by her side, they can face anything together.
