Nitram

"Nitram" is a thriller that follows the life of a young man with intellectual disabilities living in Port Arthur, Australia in the mid-1990s. Nitram's life is marked by isolation, frustration, and tragedy, culminating in a devastating event that changes his life forever. Despite his mother's efforts to help him, Nitram's anger and desperation grow as he struggles to find his place in the world. When he meets an elderly woman named Helen, their friendship offers a glimmer of hope, but fate has other plans. A car accident results in her death and leaves Nitram injured and alone. Inheriting Helen's mansion and fortune only serves to deepen his descent into chaos. As Nitram's isolation becomes more pronounced, he turns to alcohol and eventually takes matters into his own hands in a tragic act of destruction.
