In Bruges follows the story of two hitmen, Ray and Ken, who are sent to the medieval town of Bruges in Belgium after a job goes awry in London. Ray, haunted by his past mistakes, finds solace in a local drug dealer, Chloe, while Ken enjoys Bruges' beauty and relaxed atmosphere. Their employer Harry calls Ken with an order to kill Ray for accidentally killing a child, but Ken hesitates and ultimately decides to help Ray escape. Harry arrives in Bruges with the intent to kill Ray himself, leading to a violent confrontation atop the town's bell tower that ultimately results in Ken's tragic death.
