Soldier of Orange

As the Nazi occupation of the Netherlands tears their lives apart, a group of close friends must choose their paths: resistance, collaboration, or escape. Erik, a student, joins the resistance and embarks on dangerous missions to help others escape, while Guus stays behind to continue his studies. Jan, a Jewish student, is captured and executed by the Germans. Alex, half-German, joins the Waffen-SS but later dies on the Eastern Front. Robby operates radio communications for the resistance but is caught by the Germans and later shot by Guus for his betrayal. Throughout it all, Erik remains determined to fight for his country's freedom, even as the war takes its toll on himself and those he loves. Based on a true story, Soldier of Orange is a powerful and poignant portrayal of courage, friendship, and sacrifice during one of history's darkest hours.
