Born In Chicago is a documentary that tells the story of how the Chicago blues scene came to be, featuring first generation blues performers from the Mississippi Delta and their unlikely followers - young, white, middle-class kids who were drawn to the soulful music and learned from the legends themselves. Despite the racial tensions of the 1960s, the Chicago blues transcended color lines as these young musicians apprenticed themselves to blues greats like Muddy Waters and Howlin' Wolf, eventually making the music their own.
