Accidentally Dad

Tung Son, a successful and content doctor, finds his carefree lifestyle threatened when Que Phuong, a financially struggling gambling addict, attempts to swindle him. She instructs her seven-year-old daughter to pretend to be hit by Tung Son's car, making him believe he has injured the child. Que Phuong then claims that the child is his, the result of a fleeting romantic encounter almost a decade ago. Her intentions are purely financial, hoping that Tung Son will provide money for her gambling habits and help pay off her debts. However, when Tung Son gets to know the child, they form a strong bond, with the little girl even calling him "papa." But the ruse is exposed when a DNA test confirms that Tung Son is not the father. He turns his back on Que Phuong and the child, only to find himself in a moral and emotional dilemma when the little girl is diagnosed with a potentially fatal form of cancer.
