Over The Hedge stands out as genuinely witty and even a little barbed. Its chipper, sneering outsider's look at suburban sprawl and conformity isn't going to change the world, but it's still self-aware enough to be reasonably smart.

Over the Hedge follows the adventures of a group of forest animals, led by the charismatic raccoon RJ, who sets out to repay a debt of food to a grumpy bear named Vincent. Along the way, they encounter a newly-built suburban sprawl that threatens their forest home and must learn to work together to survive.
