A messy mash-up of The Shining, Gaslight, 2001: A Space Odyssey, and countless other sci-fi and thriller tropes. There’s something potentially very good at the core of this series, but it gets buried under nonsensical interactions, plot holes, and clichés. Most events are entirely predictable and end up feeling more annoying than dreadful, almost like bad slapstick comedy.
