Divided We Stand

In the aftermath of Germany's reunification in 1991, a special investigative unit called ZERV is formed to probe into government and economic crimes committed during the East German regime. As detectives from the West and East collaborate, they uncover a web of deceit that leads them to question everything they thought they knew about their countries' shared history. As they dig deeper, they discover that the truth is not always black and white, and that some secrets are better left unspoken. When Karo Schubert, a determined East German detective, stumbles upon her father's mysterious file, she realizes that the case is personal and could change the course of her life forever. With tensions running high, will the joint investigative effort be enough to bring justice to those responsible, or will old alliances prevail?
