In the midst of World War II, three young Polish women from different walks of life find their paths intertwining in occupied Warsaw. Irka hails from a wealthy and influential family, Ewka grew up on the streets surrounded by small-time criminals, and Marysia is the daughter of a rich Jewish industrialist. As they navigate the dangerous and uncertain landscape of occupied Poland, they join forces with the clandestine resistance movement and embark on a journey of self-discovery, camaraderie, and survival.
