He enters into a rivalry with Ha Woo-sung, another moneylender who has secretly loved Na-ra's longtime girlfriend, Cha-yeon. As Na-ra navigates the dangerous world of loan sharks, he meets Seo Joo-hee, a woman who was supposed to marry a divorced man to solve her family's financial problems but ends up falling in love with Na-ra instead. With his newfound power and influence, Na-ra seeks to take down the loan shark empire and bring justice to those who have wronged him and his family.
