In the shadow of Australia's breathtaking Blue Mountains, Wakefield, a psychiatric facility, becomes a place of transformation for both patients and staff. Nikhil Katira, an Indian-Australian nurse, is a brilliant and well-liked caregiver, but his own struggles intensify as he helps his patients find peace. As the lines between sanity and madness blur, Nikhil's grip on reality begins to slip away, threatening to derail his career and his own sense of self.
